Bhattacharjee, Nabarupa
Nabarupa Bhattacharjee is a photographer and writer from Calcutta, India, currently residing in London. Her first photobook was on her granduncle, legendary filmmaker of alternate Indian cinema, Ritwik Ghatak, which was the recipient of a grant and was released at the International Film Festival of India in 2016 by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, a Government of India supported the initiative. Her second photobook was on American artist and founder of Escapism, John Ross Palmer for which she was awarded a full scholarship making her India’s first artist-in-residence to join the avant-garde movement in Texas in 2018. Her other photo essays and articles are published by various organisations including the Criterion Collection,USA and the Royal Photographic Society, UK. Nabarupa’s practice surrounds on photo histories with biographical text. She is presently pursuing her masters is Biography from the University of Buckingham under noted English historian and biographer, Jane Ridley.
Bond, Martyn
Martyn Bond has pursued three careers, as a journalist, an academic and as a European civil servant. He has written on European affairs for many years, including The Two Germanys (Atomium Press 1990) and The Council of Europe (Routledge 2012). He edited Eminent Europeans (Greycoat Press 1996) and his biography of Richard Coudenhove-Kalergi was published in 2021 by McGill Queens University Press under the title Hitler’s Cosmopolitan Bastard. Paperback and audio-book editions appeared in 2025. The same year he launched the Shakespeare in Music Festival in Stratford on Avon to celebrate the musical legacy of the Bard (www.shakespeareinmusic.org).
Brown, Rosemary Jane
Journalist Rosemary J. Brown is the author of Following Nellie Bly: Her Record-Breaking Race Around the World, in which she retraced Bly’s global journey 125 years later. Her next book, Moving Mountains: Intrepid Women Climbers and the Peaks That Honour Them presents nine extraordinary women—across the centuries—who scaled the highest mountains in a world that questioned their right to climb at all. Rosemary received the Society of Authors’ Lady Antonia Fraser Award and an Audrey Salkeld Bursary from The Alpine Club. She is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and a Churchill Fellow.
