Hephzibah Yohannan is editor and writer for the journal, the ‘Halliday Review’, and her first book, co-authored, was ‘Personal Journey’ , a music memoir of the guitarist and composer John Zaradin (2015).  She is currently working on the biographies of the artist and writer Eugene Halliday and his friend the German Jewish emigrée artist Käthe Schuftan, whose story she first rediscovered in 2014-2015. She has worked with the curator and given an introductory talk for an exhibition, ‘The Art of Eugene Halliday and Käthe Schuftan’,  September to November 2019, at Tan y Garth Hall Retreat in North Wales, in conjunction with the ‘Insiders Outsiders Festival’. She holds a degree in Philosophy (1971, University of Manchester);  and the Certificate and Diploma in Creative Writing in Biography (2015 & 2018, University of East Anglia).
